This project aims to design and develop a user-friendly workout tracking application tailored to casual gym-goers and individuals with limited time or low self-discipline. Existing fitness apps often overwhelm users with complexity, require manual input, or impose various barriers that discourage long-term engagement. This project focuses on creating a solution that prioritises simplicity, time efficiency, and seamless integration with wearable devices such as the Apple Watch.

Building on the initial design work completed during the CM3116 module, this project continues the development of a smart workout app that supports users through an intuitive interface for tracking workouts, sets, reps, and progress. Rather than relying solely on manual logging, the app incorporates semi-automatic tracking features, such as gesture-based controls (e.g., double-tap to skip) and calendar-based planning to reduce cognitive load. The app is optimised for quick interactions, making it easy to log workouts and check progress without disrupting gym sessions.

This is a project initially started and designed in the CM3116 module, which for this project I have made into a functional application.
