As you probably know, engineering Cardiff Racing team have successfully competed in Formula Student UK for the past 12 years. Recently, Formula Student Germany have pioneered a new class in this competition: driverless racing.

Our engineering students are now looking to build a team towards participating in this driverless class in the future years. This project would look into developing certain components of the software for a future driverless race car. There are many interesting tasks to be addressed here, please come and see me personally to discuss a particular project.

Prerequisites: interest in machine learning, excellent programming skills and a degree of ingenuity.
