This project will develop an app to diagnose medical images, particularly MRI images. The app has two main gaols: the first goal is to help medical students practice their knowledge and learn from others on how to annotate and label medical images, and the second goal is to help the research in medical imaging by preparing a large data set of labelled images. An element of gaming can be added also to the app to make it fun to use and improve its usability. The project is an exercise in mobile app development and usability engineering. A data set of MRI images is already avaialable for use; in collaboration with work currently undertaken with Dr Frank Langbein.
