Supervised by Dr Katarzyna Stawarz; Moderated by Hantao Liu

The environment today faces many threats causing its degradation and the fashion industry is one of those contributing threats. This project aims to address some of the issues by facilitating sustainable fashion efforts and raising awareness through Augmented Reality (AR) technology. A web application is developed that decreases excessive unnecessary clothing purchasing by having users create a digital inventory of their clothing. The application aims to educate the user regarding sustainability practices through an interactive AR approach and inform them on the impact their inventory has on the environment, increasing awareness. This project also aims to target brands that can utilise this solution as a template to incorporate in the own website, informing consumers on fashion sustainability.
