Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) is a technology that employs optical character recognition to scan, detect, and read vehicle registration plates. By converting images (captured by cameras) of vehicle plates into machine-readable text, ANPR plays a crucial role in various applications, from traffic monitoring to security enforcement. Despite significant advancements in computer vision through deep learning, many solutions remain insufficiently robust for real-world applications. To address this, a more accurate and enhanced ANPR system must be developed. This project aims to develop a high accuracy ANPR model and read vehicle number plates effectively.
