Virtual Reality Classroom to gamify education.

Aaron O'Hagan

Supervised by Yukun Lai; Moderated by Jing Wu

My intent with this project would be to create a classroom simulation in the Unity engine. It would be primarily for use with virtual reality systems, allowing for students to become immersed in their education as well as providing teaching methods that are more fun and engaging. For example, the program could allow for virtual travel to historic sites or an active volcano, physics simulations and virtual chemistry experiments and even simple conversations with chatbots for language learning. The program would implement a simple "Teacher" AI, basic, low-poly graphics modelling and multiplayer via network connectivity.
